What People Are Saying

“Right now I'm sitting here very happy and pleased with what is taking place at the Boys & Girls Club with our teen speaker series. Tonight was the first time I got to experience for myself the teachings of Bruce Boyd in action. All I can say is, I am so glad he came and we were all blessed by the message he gave, it even brought me to tears. He dug deep and let us ALL know that in the midst of it all we must STAND and if we can, we need to help someone else to stand with us. He defined the power of self and explained how some are conditioned to believe they were meant to fail but that is not the case, they are purposed for better and can achieve it. He taught the value of knowing your name and that every time we walk out the door someone is watching and an interview is taking place. It was a great lesson.”

“Bruce, the play signaled to those babies that they mattered, that the very reason for you being there was about them...it was at that moment that the most precious thing we can get from our children you had and it was their attention! I just told someone that your story is my story and so many others from our community, tonight each of those babies saw, heard and felt deepening impact, the impact they will remember for a lifetime...salute!”

— C. Andre Daniels Former Mayor Westampton Township
