Developed almost twenty years ago by Bruce Boyd, the Boys of Distinction and Girls of Grace was an impactful program focused on bringing worldly experiences to youth. Inspiring them to REACH FURTHER, and instilling SKILLS that aid in the workplace, home and social peers. I’m LIVING PROOF that it works.

Mr. Boyd is the reason why I am the way I am. It was what he was teaching us that I knew I wanted more and it became an expectation. When he taught us in 5th grade how to knot a necktie I felt special. I knew how to do something no one else in my family knew how to do. I would show them at cookouts how fast I could knot a necktie.

I remember everything you taught and when I went to boarding school, I knew things other kids didn’t know. It was all because he taught us about life. He gave us the tools. Now I’ve created my own business and it’s growing. I have three locations in three states and I’m expanding.

Every time something good happens in my life I think about what Mr. Boyd and his team instilled in us at P.J. Hill School.
